Boarders Coastal Run

Published by Dover College on Wednesday 10th of June 2026

This week, Miss Maylor and Mr Carroll took 10 boarding pupils on a 5-mile (8km) run along the Capel Cliffs pathway. Pupils enjoyed stunning coastal views and glorious evening sunshine throughout the route. It was a great opportunity to show the boarders more of the beautiful local area they call home, while also enjoying some time away from the school site.

The route allowed pupils to run at their own pace, making it an inclusive activity for all abilities. Along the way, pupils enjoyed chatting with friends, getting some fresh air, and taking in the scenery. It was a positive and active evening that promoted both physical wellbeing and an appreciation of the local surroundings.
