Sneak a peek at the stunning displays of student work in our Year 2 classroom!

So far this year, the children have enjoyed learning how to:

🧘 Understand and label their emotions using the #𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗢𝗳𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 framework

🤔 Develop deeper and visible thinking as part of their 𝗘𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝘆 topic, 'How do people express themselves and their ideas through performance?'

➕ Create 'place value pictures' in 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 – helping them apply concepts they are learning in open-ended ways

💭 Use 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝘀 to categorise and prioritise different creative roles they can take on in a theatre production

💗 Follow our core behaviour values, '𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱, 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲'. This essential agreement was co-constructed with the children at the start of the year and is referred to every day
