Year 6 Performance of Matilda the Muscial Jr

Last week, our wonderful Year 6 pupils treated us to two fantastic evening performances of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr. From joyful sing‑along dance numbers to moments of subtlety and quiet introspection, the children took us through every available emotion.

The professional setting of The Dobson Theatre at our Senior School, King Edward VI School in Southampton, gave the perfect platform for the children to shine. We could not be prouder of the way everyone rose to the occasion, supported one another, and delivered on the big stage to standing ovations.

Our huge thanks go to all the amazing staff who helped to put on the show, and to all the families at home for their support throughout.

What a wonderful high note to finish the school year on. Congratulations, Year 6! 🙌
