A highly ambitious and talented pupil, Barbare, has achieved remarkable success in the field of economics, earning national recognition and a coveted place on the Georgian national team for the International Economics Olympiad (IEO) 2026.
Driven by a long-standing aspiration to represent her country on the international stage, she has consistently pursued both academic and extracurricular excellence. Among her most significant accomplishments is placing third nationally in the Georgian National Economics Olympiad, widely regarded as the country’s leading competition in advanced economics and finance.
This outstanding achievement has led to Barbare's selection for Team Georgia, which will compete at the International Economics Olympiad, the world’s premier competition in economics, finance and business. The IEO brings together top-performing students from across the globe, providing a platform for the brightest young economists to demonstrate their analytical and problem-solving skills at the highest level.
Reflecting on this milestone, Barbare described representing her country as one of her most important and meaningful goals. After pursuing similar ambitions in other fields, she had begun to question whether the opportunity would ever arise. However, her dedication to economics ultimately opened the door to this prestigious honour.
Being selected for the national team is not only a significant personal achievement but also a responsibility Barbare embraces with pride. She is determined to contribute to Georgia’s success and to represent her country with distinction on the international stage.
The school congratulates Barbare on this exceptional success and looks forward to following her progress at the International Economics Olympiad in 2026.
