A Level and BTEC Examination Celebrations 2026

Students at Ratcliffe College are celebrating a summer of academic success, with 36% of A Level grades A*/A and 70% grade B or above. Over 15% of students achieved the equivalent of 3 A grades or better.
Among the many standout achievers were Megha Thakrar who achieved 4 A* grades in Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics and will read Economics at Warwick University. Harriet Dickerson achieved 3 A*s in Chemistry, Economics and Mathematics to win her place at Bath University, also to read Economics. Edwardz Li attained two A* grades in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as A grades in Physics and Chemistry and goes on to read Electronic and Electric Engineering at UCL, whilst Oliver Warburton attained two A* grades and an A grade to secure his place at Leeds University to read Business Management. Congratulations to Niky Pattni who secured her place at Sheffield University to read Dentistry and to Eloise Allsager who will read Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at Nottingham University. In vocational qualifications, Joe Lee achieved Distinction Star and Distinction in BTEC Sport and will study Physiotherapy.

Their accomplishments reflect not only their hard work and the dedicated support of our staff and families, but also the true spirit of our College motto, Legis Plenitudo Charitas, Love is the Fulfilment of the Law. I congratulate every student on their success and wish them every happiness as they step into bright futures."
