"The ISI Inspection report is now final and we are delighted to confirm that Hazelwood met all relevant standards in every area.

Inspectors recognised an ambitious, enriched and well-resourced curriculum, the high level of pupils’ creative and aesthetic development, particularly through music and drama, and the wide range of opportunities available beyond the classroom. They also recognised the strong progress pupils make, with most attaining above age-related expectations by the end of Year 8 and most gaining entry to their first-choice senior school.

We greatly valued the opportunity to have experienced professionals come into our school, understand what we are trying to achieve and challenge our thinking about what comes next.

I am enormously proud of our pupils and grateful to the staff, governors and parents who contribute so much to Hazelwood.
