    Word From The Head

Chapter House is a vibrant and engaging school with a warm family atmosphere. Children are welcomed from three months old and stay with us until Year 5, allowing them to build strong relationships with fellow pupils and their teachers.

“Our aim is to provide the most supportive learning environment for each pupil, so that individuals develop the skills and knowledge they need to thrive and are fully prepared for the challenges and opportunities in the next stage of their education.

We are focused on encouraging every one of our pupils to achieve their full potential, whatever their talents and abilities, and we pride ourselves on enabling our children to become confident, independent and enthusiastic members of the QE community."

Pupils feel their needs are known and they are well supported.

Children are enthusiastic about their learning environment. They have extensive time to play and explore their ideas, increasing their confidence as learners. Children develop a love of books and develop their language skills as they share stories together.

In the early years, positive and supportive relationships enable children to learn how to understand their feelings and respect those of their peers. Staff model behaviour expectations, and children apply these to their own actions.

Teaching strategies and planning are typically based on pupils' interests and needs and pupils respond by engaging in the activities with enthusiasm.

    Austin, Year 2

I like this school because it makes me feel safe. My favourite lesson is PE because we get to do lots of different sports.

    Amy, Year 4

I think the lessons are fantastic and the things we are learning are clearly explained to us.
