    Word From The Head

    Head Photo

    Ms Elaine Purves, Head

We are proud to say that there is no such thing as a ‘Queen Anne’s girl’! Here at Queen Anne’s School you will find a strong community of real girls. Girls who are individuals. Girls who are curious, thoughtful and eager to learn and grow, while also being energetic, passionate and exuberant about life.

Alongside outstanding academic grades, our girls care deeply about the world around them and ahead of them. We encourage them to explore all the possibilities: in the classroom, on the playing field, on the stage, behind the easel or anywhere else that their talents might take them.

We combine an excellent curriculum, after school clubs and activities with a strong pastoral programme to ensure that, along with outstanding academic preparation, the girls gain complementary skills that allow them to step confidently into the real world.

We hope that our website will give you a flavour of life at Queen Anne’s. However, we do know that the best way to find out about us is to visit our stunning grounds and talk to the girls who are already here – they are the people who make this school so special.

Take advantage of the many opportunities to meet with our students and staff throughout the year, including Open Mornings, taster days, music concerts and many more. Please see our events pages for more information or contact our Admissions Team on 0118 918 7333 or email admissions@qas.org.uk. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I look forward to welcoming you all to Queen Anne’s School soon.

    School Reviews

    Tatler

Everything about this school sings success. The girls are absolutely charming, polished and look instantly employable. And as for The Space, their award-winning sixth-form centre: ‘I’ve never seen such a motivating building.

    Talk Education

For parents who want capable, confident girls who are comfortable in their own skin, it is definitely the place to be.

    Tatler

This is a five-star school with five-star facilities and I wouldn’t hesitate to send my own daughter here. It is practically perfect in every way.

    Muddy Stilettos

Parents love it for its ceiling smashing attitude, pastoral care, facilities and that they are very much a part of the school community (you can pop it as often as you like).
