U13 National Netball Finals

The 1st team qualified to compete at the National Finals along with the top 20 IAPS school across the UK. Qualifying in itself was an amazing achievement. The girls started out strong winning all 4 of their group matches, playing some exceptional Netball. Word on the street was that Cheam were the team to beat. This meant they qualified for the cup competition putting themselves in the top 8 schools. The girls then faced Thomas’ Battersea in the quarter finals. The winds had picked up over lunch, which made it hard work for our shooters. Unfortunately, the semi final did not go our way, tiredness had kicked in and we made a few unforced errors. The girls fought hard all day playing some amazing Netball and competing at the highest level. As well as some amazing Netball the girls showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. They should be extremely proud of the season they have had they are unbeaten in all their fixtures and a top four finish in the country at National Finals is not something you accomplish every day! What a team- well done!
