Musicians Leave Audience With A 'Spring' In Their Step

Published by The Royal Masonic School for Girls on Wednesday 29th of March 2023

The RMS Spring Concert was a resounding success, with students and parents alike enjoying an incredible evening of diverse and inspiring music.

The event showcased the impressive talents of the RMS community, with a wide range of musical ensembles taking to the stage.

Under the direction of talented music teachers, students in the RMS Chorus, Cello Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, RMS Voices, RMSO, Concert Band, Sinfonia, and Senior Jazz Ensemble wowed the audience with their performances.

From the haunting Northumbrian folk song “Blow the Wind Southerly” to the upbeat and infectious “Hakuna Matata” from The Lion King, the concert’s running order included something for everyone.

The students’ hard work and dedication to their craft were evident in every note they played and sang.

Congratulations to all of the students, teachers, and staff who made this fantastic event possible.
