Year 1 & 2 Take Forest School To The beach

Year 1 and 2 had a fabulous adventure in Ulverston on Tuesday 2 May, where they experience a calm and meditative visit to the Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre. They were shown around the temple and guided through a meditation. They also learnt about the offerings to Buddha.

After a fantastic picnic, they walked through the woods, the wild garlic smelt really strong and the bluebells looked beautiful. They had lots of fun searching for pebbles to create cairns in Beach School instead of Forest School. No trip to the beach is complete without some time to throw stones in to the water.
