In The Fashion Spotlight At London Fashion Week

Year 13 student Eve recently found herself immersed in the fast-paced world of high fashion when she sought work experience with renowned designer Kwame Koretang. What began as a simple request for work experience turned into an unexpected adventure as Eve joined the backstage excitement at London Fashion Week.

Eve, a Design Textiles: Fashion student at EHS (Elegant High School), had long admired the work of designer Koretang. To her delight, he offered her the incredible opportunity to work alongside him at London Fashion Week last weekend.

In her role as assistant, Eve was at the heart of the action, responsible for tasks such as helping to select outfits, dressing models, and ensuring the perfect fit of Koretang's creations. The backstage atmosphere was frenetic and fast-paced, far removed from the glitz and glamour typically associated with the runway. Nevertheless, Eve relished every moment of the experience.

Eve said: "As someone who aspires to a career in fashion marketing, this was an amazing glimpse into the industry. It was a fantastic opportunity to witness the details that go into creating a successful fashion show and I really enjoyed it."

But the excitement didn't stop there. After the London Fashion Week show concluded, Eve received a surprise invitation to join the team on their fashion journey to New York during the upcoming October half-term break. Watch this space!
