Reception – Chinese Lunar New Year

This week the children in Reception have been learning about the Chinese Lunar New Year. This year it is the year of the snake. We have made cards, listened to Chinese music, decorated our names in Chinese and explored objects on our interest table. We have had an assembly about Chinese New year and have been finding out how people celebrate it.
