Dauntsey’s Mathletes Shine at Millfield School Maths Competition

We are proud to share that our team of talented mathematicians achieved an impressive second place at the recent Millfield Schools Maths Competition. The competition, held at Millfield School, featured 16 teams from across Somerset, Devon, and, for the first time, Wiltshire, thanks to our participation.​

The Dauntsey's team, comprising of four pupils, demonstrated exceptional mathematical prowess, outperforming several outstanding teams, including those with students selected for the Cambridge Maths Training Camps. They secured second place, finishing just behind Sherborne Boys, with Blundell's taking third place.​

This achievement highlights the dedication and talent of our pupils and underscores Dauntsey's commitment to fostering excellence in mathematics. Congratulations to Matthew, William, Hallie, and Sophie on their outstanding performance!​
