Our Day Offering

At Merchiston, we strongly believe in offering a tailored approach and as part of our ongoing commitment to offer greater choice, flexibility and opportunity for families, we are excited to announce a new, more accessible Day pupil offering for the 2025/26 academic year.

This new Day offering will sit alongside our current Day Plus package which provides full wraparound care. The introduction of the new Day fee aims to provide a more accessible option for families, ensuring that our quality education and pastoral care remain within reach.

The Day pupil option will cover the core academic day (8am-4.30pm) including lunch, while our existing Day Plus package (8am-9pm) offers wraparound care plus two meals – lunch and dinner. Class sizes will remain small, allowing us to continue to offer the tailored attention and support that our pupils and families value.

We are also introducing a new flexi-boarding option across Juniors and Seniors, offering Day Plus families a consecutive two night, per week boarding option.
