Millfield Prep Pupils Shine in LAMDA Exams

Published by Millfield Preparatory School on Tuesday 19th of August 2025

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our talented pupils who took their LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) exams earlier this year. An impressive 155 pupils passed with Distinction, with several more achieving well-deserved Merits – a fantastic achievement that highlights both their hard work and passion.

LAMDA exams are practical assessments in speech, drama, and communication. They are designed to build confidence, develop performance abilities, and strengthen communication skills – valuable attributes for life both inside and outside the classroom. Pupils have the opportunity to explore a wide range of disciplines, from acting and musical theatre to public speaking and verse and prose.

At Millfield Prep, we are committed to nurturing creativity and encouraging every child to step into the spotlight with confidence. These results are a testament to the dedication of our pupils, as well as the guidance and support of our Performing Arts team, who inspire them daily.

Alongside these achievements, we love seeing how our pupils bring their skills to life on stage. From dazzling lead roles in our latest production of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' to ensemble performances, our drama and music productions provide the perfect opportunity for them to showcase their talents.
