GCSE Results 2025
We are delighted to celebrate a strong set of GCSE results, which reflect the talent and commitment of our pupils.
This year, 123 pupils achieved an impressive spread of top grades, with 19% of all results awarded at Grade 9, 42% at Grades 9–8, and 62% at Grades 9–7. There were some incredibly strong individual performances, including eight pupils achieving nine or more Grade 9s, a remarkable accomplishment that underlines the academic strength of this year group.
Beyond these headlines, we are particularly proud of the outstanding achievements across a wide range of subjects. Our students have excelled in everything from core subjects to the arts and languages, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and a passion for their studies.
John Davies, Head Master, commented: I am proud of this group of young people for achieving such strong GCSE results that bode well as they prepare to transition into Sixth Form. I am particularly pleased to see an increase in the number of 9 and 8 grades achieved this year, showcasing these pupils’ ambition and diligence across a broad range of subjects.
I look forward to seeing this group progress as they move up through the school, confident that they will make the most of every opportunity on offer to them in the Sixth Form.
