Upper Sixth Gold Crest Award

We are proud to share that Upper Sixth student Sophie has been awarded the coveted and difficult to achieve Gold Crest Award for her project "How can paint be synthesised to innovate Fine Art?"

Her investigation explored the chemistry of paint production, experimenting with different materials to create colour-changing paints aimed at enhancing artists' practice. While time and resource limitations meant results were inclusive, Sophie's work demonstrated exciting potential for further development.
