We are delighted to share the news that Barfield Prep School has received a special mention in the Education Choices Awards 2025 for Supporting Sustainability.

Earlier in the Summer Term, Barfield was shortlisted for this prestigious award, which celebrates schools that are leading the way in embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. To be acknowledged alongside so many other outstanding schools is an absolute honour and a reflection of our community’s collective efforts.

From eco-friendly initiatives and outdoor learning opportunities to encouraging our pupils to think responsibly about the world around them, sustainability sits at the heart of Barfield life. This recognition highlights the commitment of both staff and pupils to making positive changes for the future.
