South of England School of the Year!

Everyone within the Canford Community felt extremely proud to learn the news that the school had been crowned South of England Independent School of the Year in the prestigious Independent School Parent awards 2025.

At the finalist event at the Law Society in London on Tuesday 14th October, the judges awarded Canford the top spot in this category, which asked school to 'share pride in where you work in the South of the UK and explain why the students in your care enjoy an unparalleled student experience which is enhanced by the school’s location. Most of all, give us a sense of school life as it would appear to our judges if they were lucky enough to walk through your doors."

The South of England region for this award spans the counties of Avon, Berkshire, Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, East Sussex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.
