Creating Christmas Magic in the Woods
Published by St Nicholas' School on Thursday 18th of December 2025
The final Forest School session of the term celebrated Christmas, with Nursery, Infant, and Junior pupils working together and enjoying a variety of seasonal outdoor activities.
Working collaboratively, the children created their own woodland Christmas trees and festive decorations using natural materials found in the woods. They also made bird feeders to help care for local wildlife while the school site is closed over the Christmas period.
The session concluded with a special treat as everyone gathered around the fire pit to toast marshmallows and festive-shaped bread.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of term, highlighting teamwork, creativity and a love of the outdoors.
