Y5 Trip to Gunnersbury Museum

Year 5 had an exciting trip to Gunnersbury Park Museum where history came alive! They took part in a Victorian school workshop, writing on slates and following strict rules.

They also went under the stairs to learn about maids, cooks and chimney sweeps and how hard they worked for very little pay. It helped to understand how different life was for rich and poor people during Victorian times. A great day overall!
