Young Writers

✍️📚Young Writers is a well established competition which gives pupils the opportunity to showcase their creative writing skills as published authors. Firstly , we had amazing success in the War Poetry competition , where pupils had the chance to reflect on the theme of war and remembrance, after reading some of the work of our most famous poets of the First World War . 📚✍️

There were so many moving and poignant pieces of writing , with a diverse range of titles such as ; The Fields of War , A lasting Effect and Shadows of Sadness. Secondly , we entered "Stranger Sagas " which gave pupils the chance to write a Dystopian mini saga of 100 words. 🌍📚 Again , pupils produced some fabulous pieces , with titles such as ; Disaster in the Lab , the Last Man Alive and the Failed Experiment. We were delighted to hear that an amazing 75 pupils had their work selected for publication . Congratulations to all ! 🌟📕
