Castle Court Announces New Lower Fee Structure
Published by Castle Court Preparatory School on Thursday 9th of April 2026
Castle Court, a leading Dorset prep school with a strong focus on academic, sport and performing arts has today announced a major change to its fee structure aimed at making independent education more accessible to families across the region.
From September 2026 the school will reduce its core tuition fees, with wraparound care (pre- and post-school provision) offered as optional extras.
This new model reflects the school’s commitment to broadening access at a time when rising costs and the introduction of VAT on school fees present challenges for many families.
Ian Johnston, Chair of Governors said:
“We believe every child should have the chance to benefit from the education and opportunities our school provides. By reducing core fees, we are helping to keep independent education within reach for more families, while continuing to invest in the very heart of the school to the benefit of all our pupils.”
The changes are part of a wider repositioning strategy, ensuring the school remains sustainable, inclusive, and forward-looking. Significant investment has already been made in the central areas of the school, with further enhancements planned.
