Year 8 Scholarship Success

It’s the last day of term and we’re proud to be celebrating an exceptional year of Scholarship success with 19 boys in our Senior School achieving 22 awards across Academic, Music and Sport. A remarkable accomplishment and a reflection of their intellectual curiosity, creativity, athleticism and determination.

Mr Thomas, our Headmaster, said, “The results of our Year 8 boys in their scholarship applications are testament to their efforts, their talents and the hard work that goes in from every member of our school community. Central to this success is the stretch and challenge they receive in the classroom, ensuring every boy is supported to reach his full potential and is prepared as fully as possible for life beyond Davenies.

The final two years allow the boys to develop their confidence, build their skills and knowledge, and experience leadership opportunities that will last them a lifetime. We are extremely proud of their achievements.”
