New Learning Resource Centre

We are delighted to share our brand new Learning Resource Centre, arriving at St Nicholas' School in September 2026! 📚

Designed as a dynamic, multi-use environment, the LRC will feature four key areas to support learning and creativity:

💫 Early Years zone
💫 ‘Campfire’ social circle
💫 Teaching & presentation space
💫 Collaborative working area

Cosy reading spots will be dotted throughout, complete with wing-backed chairs, benches and stools, perfect for quiet moments with a book.

Inspired by the woodland around us, the space will bring the outdoors in with:

🌳 Tree structures
🍃 Foliage wall murals
💧 A 'stream' flowing through the centre
🔥 A campfire feature
☁️ Hanging clouds
🍄 Toadstools and log seating in the Early Years area

The Early Years space has been carefully designed for teacher-led storytelling, while sound-absorbing materials throughout will create a calm and comfortable environment for reading and study.

Flexible teaching spaces, collaborative pods with charging points, and a warm, inviting campfire circle for group discussion will ensure this is a space where every pupil can thrive. ✨

We can’t wait to see this exciting new space come to life and to see our pupils enjoying it from September!
