Visit to Westminster Abbey
Published by Reddiford School on Tuesday 28th of July 2026
On Monday, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed an unforgettable visit to Westminster Abbey as part of their curriculum studies.
They explored the historic Abbey, saw the 700-year-old Coronation Chair, visited the Grave of the Unknown Warrior, and discovered the famous Poets' and Scientists' Corners. Pupils from Hawking House were especially excited to visit the memorial to Stephen Hawking and learn that Sir Isaac Newton is buried there.
The stunning architecture and rich history brought their learning to life, making it a truly memorable experience
