Excellent A Level and vocational results celebrated

The Upper Sixth at King Edward’s Witley were congratulated today by Head, Mrs Joanna Wright, and colleagues on their excellent A Level, BTEC and Level 3 results. Overall, 40% of the Class of 2026’s entries were awarded A or A grades*, reflecting the hard work and commitment of pupils and the dedication of their teachers.

Mrs Wright said:

“We are absolutely delighted for our leavers. Their results are a testament both to their hard work and determination, and to the outstanding teaching and support provided by my colleagues. We are particularly proud that our pupils have achieved such success across both academic and vocational pathways, reflecting the breadth of opportunities available at King Edward’s.”

Highlights include 100% of Extended Project Qualification entries achieving A or A grades*, alongside 80% A–A in Further Mathematics, Music and Music Technology, and BTEC Level 3 Sport*. In five subjects, every grade awarded was A* or A.

Around two-thirds of pupils progressing to university have secured places at Russell Group institutions, including Oxford, Imperial College London and King’s College London. Others will begin degree apprenticeships or pursue courses including Aerospace Engineering, Interior Design, Law, Music and Theoretical Physics.

“We are incredibly proud of every one of our pupils and of the different paths they have chosen. We wish them every success and happiness as they take the next exciting step beyond King Edward’s.”
