Cottesmore Student Crowned National Champion

A golden moment for Cottesmorian Elliott Daruty who was crowned National Champion in the Open/Male 13–14 years 100m freestyle at the 2026 Swim England National Summer Meet.

Elliott produced a superb swim of 56.18 seconds to take first place and secure the gold medal on one of the biggest stages in English swimming.

A brilliant achievement built on dedication, courage and countless hours of training.
