GCSE Results 2026

Halliford School is also celebrating a landmark year of GCSE success, with Year 11 pupils achieving the finest set of GCSE results in the school's history.

A record number of grades were awarded at Grades 7-9, significantly above the national average for independent schools, representing the highest proportion of top grades ever achieved at Halliford. Among the many individual success stories, several students attained an exceptional clean sweep of Grades 8 and 9 across all their subjects. The Art Department performed strongly with 95% of pupils achieving Grades 8 and 9, and 86% of our early-entry Mathematics students achieved a Grade 9.

While these remarkable statistics reflect academic excellence, GCSE Results Day is equally notable for the countless stories of perseverance, resilience and personal achievement that underpin them. Across the year group, students have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and determination, making these accomplishments all the more meaningful.
