100% A Level Pass Rate

Published by The Peterborough School on Monday 21st of September 2026

Students at The Peterborough School celebrated this morning as they collected a remarkable set of A Level results, achieving a 100% pass rate and the highest proportion of A* to B grades since before the pandemic.

All students gained places at their chosen universities, securing places on degree courses ranging from Aerospace Engineering to Economics and Law to Sports Science, reflecting the diverse strength and skills of our Upper Sixth cohort.

We congratulate, Maija, on achieving three A* grades and one A grade. Having joined us in the Preparatory School, we are delighted that Maija will take up her place to study Psychology. Alongside her outstanding academic achievements, Maija has embraced every aspect of school life, making a significant contribution through her exemplary leadership in her role as Head of School. Her success is a fitting reflection of her dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to our School family.

"We are particularly pleased with the strong performance across a range of subjects, with many subjects achieving a 100% A* to B success rate. These results are testament to both the hard work of our students and the expertise, encouragement and dedication of our teaching staff."  Adrian Meadows

Headmaster, Adrian Meadows was once again thrilled for the Upper Sixth Students:

“I am incredibly proud to see such a strong set of results for a remarkable group of students. These results represent far more than examination success. They reflect years of hard work, perseverance and personal growth. Our students have made an enormous contribution to school life and have been wonderful ambassadors for The Peterborough School. We are immensely proud of everything they have achieved and excited to see the impact they will make as they move on to the next stage of their education and careers.

“As always, I am very grateful to all our staff who have gone above and beyond to ensure each student achieves their very best. Many of our staff have nurtured our students from the Preparatory School through to the Upper Sixth, and I know that I speak for them all as we wish the students the very best for the future and look forward to hearing about their new adventures.”
