Finalist, Independent Boarding School of the Year 2026

Published by Aysgarth School on Monday 5th of October 2026

We’re delighted to share that we’ve been named a finalist in the Independent Boarding School of the Year category of the Independent Schools of the Year Awards.

At Aysgarth, boarding isn't an add-on, it’s a foundation for thriving socially, emotionally and academically. We’re proud to say that our boarders build independence, confidence and leadership, with our boys and girls thriving in our close-knit adventurous community.

We’re so grateful to our pupils, staff and families whose commitment and generosity of spirit ensure that Aysgarth feels safe, supported and truly a home from home.

Thank you to Independent School Parent Magazine and congratulations to our fellow finalists. We’ll be keeping everything crossed as we look ahead to the awards ceremony on 14 October.
