📚Summer Reading Celebrations📚

Yesterday afternoon our Piccadilly café was buzzing with a bright and brilliant group of avid readers, scholars, library prefects, and library ambassadors enjoying an afternoon tea to celebrate their fantastic achievements across our summer reading challenge.

Hosted by our wonderfully passionate and expert librarian and teacher, Mrs Harris, and Mr Kirk-Burgess (Deputy Head, Academic), we enjoyed hearing about recent reading experiences and recommendations and were enthralled by an excerpt from a fabulous fiction book currently being written by Year 9 pupil, Arabrella.

Huge congratulations to all our summer reading challenge participants and prize winners, after hearing about what inspires these young readers it was impossible not to feel compelled to spend a little time getting lost in a great book.
