Fabulous fortnight for DEAN CLOSE sporting girls

A successful couple of weeks of county competition have seen Dean Close girls from three age groups progress through to regional competitions, with two county titles and a runners-up position. U18 girls have won the county HOCKEY championship title & progress to the West of England Regionals; the U14 HOCKEY team have also been crowned County Champions and proceed to the West Finals. The U16 NETBALL team showed strength in their County Championship and while being defeated in the final following a determined performance, still proceed to the regional competition in January as runners-up.
