Rugby success for Dean Close Fifth Former

Dean Close 5th Former Tiff Eden has been invited to attend the Area 7 Counties (Gloucestershire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Bristol) Rugby Development Weekend. He is one of only seven Gloucestershire players selected. Tiff plays fly half for the 1st XV and is currently on the school's Worcester Warriors programme. He also plays A team hockey and cricket. School rugby coach, John Alder said: 'This is a really big achievement for Tiff as it marks him as one of two or three fly halves identified by selectors from Area 7'. Fifteen year old Sports Scholar Tiff will be watched by the South West coaches and selectors with a view to South West England representation.
