MSJ Scoops Special Award in Well Dressing Competition

Year 5 pupils at Malvern St James Girls' School have once again taken part in the Malvern Spa Association Well Dressing Weekend. Last week they were very proud to hear that the well they dressed (Westminster Bank Spring) had not only received a Gold certificate and Rosette, but had also been selected for the Founder's Prize. This prize is only awarded to one exceptional well every year. They certainly deserved this reward; they had carefully pondered the theme of ‘The River of Life’, deciding to make representations of as many living creatures as they could – the swimming, the slithering, the flying, the crawling etc. Each girl had made small clay creatures and also contributed to the impressive large models of British mammals. Well done to all our hardworking girls in Year 5!
