On Saturday 19 September the MSJ Year 9 and Year 11 Hockey teams were in action playing in the National ISA Hockey Tournament at St Edward’s School, Cheltenham. Year 11 worked hard throughout the competition, improving their form as the day wore on. They played 6 games, winning 3, drawing one and losing 2 to finish in 3rd position overall. The Year 9 team excelled in their 6 games. They started with great energy and enthusiasm and gave the opposition no time to settle into their stride. Throughout the day they displayed some fantastic teamwork and great hockey which resulted in 7 members of the squad being on the score sheet! Incredibly they only conceded one goal all afternoon and scored an impressive total of 38. After winning all 6 of their matches they were crowned ISA National U14 Champions.
