Malvern St James Riders Triumph at Stonar
Published by Malvern St James Girls' School on Wednesday 30th of September 2015
A glorious day at the 28th Stonar Inter-Schools One Day Event on Sunday 27 September ended with more MSJ riding success. The team of 3 rode superbly to win the 1st prize and shield in the 90cm U18 class against a tough field of over 35 schools. Jess Morris, Pippa Wollen and Ibble Watson (who is only in Year 8!) won by a country mile with a total of 88 points, whilst the nearest competing school had 103 points. Ibble Watson also took individual 1st prize in the U14 class, competing against 33 riders. She finished on a very good dressage score of 24.3 and went clear in the show jumping and cross country rounds.
