Olympia of Spratton Hall won the Golden Quill Poetry Competition

Huge congratulations to Katie Newton and Olympia Onslow who travelled to Ampleforth on Saturday for St Martin's Ampleforth Golden Quill Poetry Competition. Their poems were two of only 30 that had been shortlisted from in excess of 300 entries based on three categories, My Best Friend, The World Around Us and Awkward Moments. They recited their poems beautifully and Katie Newton received a Shortlist Certificate for her poem and Olympia won the Competition with her poem "Another Term Done" which has been published in the Golden Quill Poetry Publication. A massive achievement - well done to both of you.
