Warwick School hosted their 48th Annual Sevens Tournament at the weekend. Rugby talent came from far and wide across the country, with 30 schools competing in 200 matches. It was an extremely muddy day, of fantastic competitive rugby with cup wins from Dulwich and Warwick (2). Warwick came out as overall winners, receiving the most points, and was awarded The Freeborn Shield, named in honour of Ken Freeborn who served Warwick School as Head of Physical Education for 35 years from 1957-92. Charlie Hayter (Old Warwickian, England 7s) presented the trophies to the respective age group winners: U16 - Dulwich U15 - Warwick U14 - Warwick U13 – No winners at this age group (Warwick undefeated!) U12 – No winners at this age group (Warwick lost one game 5 scores to 4)
