Team-Building for Bedford Prep Boys at the School’s Nature Reserve

Bedford School Prep Year 7 boys enjoyed a fantastic team-building day at Ickwell, the school’s very own nature reserve, last week. All four tutor groups enjoyed learning how to light a fire with only a flint and steel, and build a survival shelter. They also got to explore the nature reserve for wildlife and pitted themselves against each other in a number of problem-solving challenges. Highlights included finding a snake, a shrew and various dragonflies; cooking marshmallows, and making (and eating!) s’mores on the bonfire.
