Bedford School Boy Thomas Raut claims another Fencing Gold

Bedford School boy Thomas Raut won gold, representing the school, in the Bedfordshire County Sabre Championship, which is open to fencers aged 13 to 100 years. This gold follows closely after Thomas’ first place in the U15 National Championships in June. Thomas is a member of the Paul Davis Fencing Academy in St Albans, where he trains for just a few hours a week. He has recently been ranked fifth in the country for his age group, which means he will represent England and fence in their squad this year.
