NAS Robert Ogden School 15 March 2016 Summary of the latest report "The school has a knowledgeable, experienced staff team, and clear guidance and detailed plans are in place to inform and support personalised approaches to learning. There is good consistency of practice across the school and good learning environments have been created. The panel were impressed by several aspects of the school documented within the review report which, as noted earlier, we feel represent good practice within the field. These include the school’s approach to assessment and the development of communication skills and the promotion of pupil well-being. The review team identified two areas for development and the panel agree with these, although they are not adjudged to be of such significance that they merit being turned into recommendations. Overall, this is a very positive review of an excellent school for children and young people with autism. The panel would like to congratulate the school on maintaining the high standards required for accreditation and we look forward to learning about the school’s progress in future."
