Published by Dunottar School on Wednesday 10th of November 2021

On Wednesday, September 29, 2021 Sir Jon Coles visited our school, to officially open the new Castle Theatre and Performing Arts Centre to a delighted audience of parents, teaching staff and pupils.

This stunning new facility offers 5 state-of-the-art music practice rooms, two music classrooms (fully equipped with the latest programming and performance tech), a drama studio and spacious theatre with seating for up to 500.

“It is great to be back at Dunottar School, to celebrate the official opening of this impressive new theatre as the latest resource for the school. We’re extremely proud of the development of Dunottar over recent years, with the fantastic staff and pupils also now enjoying an excellent new sixth form centre, county-standard cricket facilities and the new Courtyard Gym fitness studio.

We look forward to continuing to support the development and success of the school into the future.” Sir Jon Coles – CEO of United Learning.
