Nina picked for England

Many congratulations to Year 13 student Nina who found out this week that she has been selected for the U20 England Lacrosse squad playing in the Home International Championships this coming April.

It’s a dream come true for Nina who started playing lacrosse when she joined Walthamstow Hall in Year 7. Speaking on the lacrosse field on Friday Nina said, ‘This might sound really corny but I am beyond happy, I train every day both on the pitch and in the gym and I am so pleased that all of the hard work has paid off. I can’t wait to play for England.”

Nina’s skills also extend to juggling as she manages her training and competing alongside her A Level studies in Chemistry, Biology and PE.
