Luckley Makes Bible History
Published by Luckley House School on Wednesday 11th of January 2012
Luckley-Oakfield Students and staff took part in a history-making project entitled The People's Bible. Each particpant wrote two verses of the Bible on iPads, with digital pens. The verses were then transmitted and recorded digitally to contribute to a new hand-written online Bible. The project, run by the Bible Society, marks 400 years of the King James version of the Bible. A Service of Celebration took place on 16th November at Westminster Abbey to mark the event, which was attended by the Queen and a number of celebrities. The verses can be viewed online at www.thepeoplesbible.org
