Toria Jackson, Sophie Coombes-Roberts and Bethany Barnes were overall winners at the Rotary Public Speaking Competition held at Malvern St James last month. This competition is open to all schools in the local area and our sixth form girls faced strong teams from Pershore, Malvern College, The Chase and Dodderhill. The topics were 'Your choice of school affects the rest of your life', 'Globalisation', and 'Sport brings us together and tears us apart'. The standard of the competition was unusually high and the girls gave an exceptional performance to a large audience of Rotarians, parents and supporters from MSJ.
