KHS Girls Join Rugby Training

On Tuesday night 16 girls from the Kingham Sixth Form joined 30 other members of Stow-on-the-Wold RFC’s recently formed women’s section for rugby training.

For many of them it was their first time trying the sport and they threw themselves in to it with enthusiasm and energy. Stow have already started playing competitive fixtures and are hoping to establish an U15, U18 and Women’s team. The girls are already looking forward to next week, training is at 1900 at Oddington Road and everyone is welcome.
