Word From The Head

Head Photo

Fr Simon Everson

Farleigh School is a leading co-educational IAPS Catholic boarding and day Prep School of 450 children, aged 3 to 13, situated in 70 acres of beautiful parkland in the Test Valley of Hampshire, close to the A303 (M3) and just over an hour from London.

Boarding and day pupils alike benefit from excellent pastoral care in a happy atmosphere, supported by a large number of resident staff. The school's Catholic ethos forms the foundation of the pastoral care surrounding the children, for which Farleigh is well known. Farleigh warmly welcomes children of all denominations and encourages them to explore life to the full, and to have a sense of wonder and curiosity about the world around them.

The school has an excellent academic and sporting reputation, each year sending pupils to all the major senior schools via Common Entrance and 13 scholarships. Up-to-date facilities include a 22 metre heated indoor swimming pool, light and spacious art and design centre, theatre with tiered seating, studio rehearsal space, science laboratories, sports hall, well equipped music department with individual rehearsal rooms, a purpose built, tiered-seating Concert Hall and state of the art IT suites.

A wide range of clubs and activities are arranged after school and at weekends, giving boarders and day children a full and varied life. A resident catering team provides healthy homemade food, which is very popular with the children.

Open Days, Visits & Events

20-09-2025 - Open Morning

We are delighted to welcome visitors to Farleigh.

Our next Open Morning is on Saturday 20th September 2025, 9.30am-11.45am. We would love you to join us and show you Farleigh in action. You will have the opportunity of meeting our Head, Fr Simon, pupils, staff, governors and current parents.

Holiday Camps

31-08-2025 - Farleigh Fun Holiday Courses

We run various courses over the school holidays. These Farleigh Fun courses are open to all children, not just Farleigh pupils.

Farleigh Fun Courses are designed to provide activity, sport and intellectual development for children throughout the school holidays at Farleigh School, near Andover. The school is easily accessible from the A303 and A343.

The Farleigh Fun courses are for boys and girls across all years, varying by course. They are available to all children, whether they attend Farleigh School or are from the local and/or wider area. All ability levels are welcome.

In a new development this year, we now offer additional supervision for Prep and Pre-Prep pupils before and after our holiday courses, to provide childcare from 8.00am-5.00pm each day our courses run.

The Good Schools Guide

Farleigh is an outstanding school and we aren't in the least surprised that parents go into raptures about the place. 'Ah, lovely Farleigh,' mused one father.
