St. Nicholas Preparatory School is a co-educational day school in the heart of London overlooking Hyde Park for children aged 2 years 9 months – 11 years.
The Montessori Nursery and Reception have been in existence since 1946, offering a child centred approach in small classes of 20 or less, and the school is now developing its facilities to offer a broad based, traditional programme of education to prepare pupils for entrance examinations to all the leading senior schools at 11+.
The school has a fully equipped Science laboratory, iPads for ICT lessons, and a school library. French is also taught from age 4 upwards in a bi-lingual atmosphere. A full programme of sports, music and arts contributes to a well balanced and challenging curriculum which is delivered in bright, spacious classrooms. The school also benefits from the use of a communal 3-acre garden and it is within walking distance of the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, and other famous places of interest.
